Facebook Fundraiser
Creating a fundraiser on Facebook is easy! To create a fundraiser for ULK, follow these steps – Click Fundraisers in the left menu of your News Feed, Click Raise Money, Select Nonprofit/Charity, Select Urban League of Kansas, choose a cover photo and fill in the fundraiser details, finally click Create.
Dillons Rewards
Dillons Community Rewards makes fund-raising easy by donating to ULK based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Dillons and swipe your Plus Card! A digital account is needed to participate in Dillons Community Rewards.
Employer Matching
Many companies offer matching gift programs to encourage employees to contribute to charitable organizations. Most of these programs match contributions dollar for dollar, and some will even double or triple the amount of your gift! 3rd Party Fundraiser
Third-party fundraisers can be defined as businesses, social clubs, or private individuals and other non-charity groups who are willing to plan and host fundraising drives on behalf of a charity. Some examples include restaurant dinners, school fundraisers, book sales, storefront collections, auctions, game nights, and marathons.
Birthday Fundraiser
Instead of gifts, ask your friends and family for donations to ULK! This is a very simple way to raise money and you can do it through Facebook or simply send out the link to ULK’s donation page - https://www.kansasul.org/donate.
