Referrals to Community Resources

Urban League of Kansas has been in Wichita, Kansas for over 70 years now and has established working relationships with private and public service agencies that may be able to assist clients in areas where the Urban League does not have expertise. Urban League staff are trained to successfully diagnose each client’s needs and determine the best resource to help them meet those needs.

Through KCSL’s 1-800-CHILDREN, parents, caregivers, relatives, youth, and professionals can access resources, information, and help via phone call, text, email, mobile app, and on our online database. Support is available 24/7. Call 1-800-CHILDREN.

The Association is the leading voice for Alzheimer's disease advocacy, fighting for critical Alzheimer’s research and care initiatives at the state and federal level.

KU SCHOOL OF MEDICINE - WICHITA

KU School of Medicine-Wichita's mission is to educate tomorrow's physicians and health care leaders through community partnership to improve the health of Kansans. With Kansas in need of more physicians, KU School of Medicine opened the Wichita Campus in 1971 to provide hands-on clinical training to medical students in their third and fourth years. In 2011, KU School of Medicine-Wichita expanded to a full, four-year campus, welcoming its first class of first-year medical students.
